TheChatfield South WaterDistrict is a Colorado Special District local government entity governed by its Board of Directors. The Boardconsists of five publicly elected Board Members. Elections of the four year term positions are held every two years.

The Board of Directors is charged with oversight of Water District Management and Operations and together they direct the governmental, financial and administrative operations of the District. The District Manager reports to the Board and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the District as set forth by the Board of Directors.
